A clear quote, before the first invoice
Every job starts with a straightforward quote covering what's included and what it costs — from a full office contract down to a single window clean. No fine print, nothing added on later.
About
Established in 2013, Reflection is a family-owned professional cleaning company based in Richards Bay, serving homes, offices, commercial premises, hospitality spaces and property portfolios.
Our reputation has been built through consistency, clear communication and genuine pride in every space entrusted to us. That shows up in how the work is run: a clear quote before we start, a fixed team rather than whoever is available, supervisor verification rather than an assumption that the work was done, and a director who answers the phone.
Richards Bay shapes how we work. This is a port and heavy-industry town, with one of the world's largest coal export terminals at its centre, and premises here contend with airborne coal dust, salt-laden air and humidity that inland contractors never plan for. We build our cleaning programmes around the conditions this region actually presents.
The company remains family-owned and owner-managed — a business built to create cleaner spaces, meaningful work and a stronger community for the next generation. Accountability sits with a person rather than a process, and the standard applied to a family home is the standard applied to a plant.
Every clean carries our name, our values and our responsibility.

How we work
Every job starts with a straightforward quote covering what's included and what it costs — from a full office contract down to a single window clean. No fine print, nothing added on later.
R2.5 million public liability and R1 million defective workmanship cover. On an operating plant or around finished stock, the question is not whether a contractor is careful — it is what happens on the day something goes wrong.
A fixed team is assigned to your premises rather than rotated between contracts. They learn its layout, its sensitive areas and its access rules. Continuity is what turns an acceptable clean into a consistent one.
Escalation ends with the managing director, not a ticket queue. For a facility manager, the value of a contractor is measured on the day something goes wrong at 06:00 — not on the day the quote was signed.
Work is checked by a supervisor before a visit is signed off, not assumed complete because the team left. Where a site requires it, sign-off is recorded with your contact so there is an audit trail.
Appointing Reflection contributes to your own procurement scorecard. For corporate and public-sector buyers, that is not a nicety — it is a condition of the tender.
Our Process
We walk your premises with you. Areas are measured, surfaces and contaminants identified, access and security constraints noted, and the windows in which work can realistically happen established.
Typically 30–60 minutes on site, at no cost.
You receive a straightforward quote covering what's included and a fixed price — whether that's a monthly figure for a contract or a once-off cost for a single job. Nothing is left implied.
Delivered in writing, usually within 48 hours of the walkthrough.
A named supervisor and a fixed team are assigned, inducted on your site rules and safety requirements, and issued with equipment and consumables matched to your surfaces.
Completed before the first shift, not during it.
Work runs to the agreed schedule, timed around your operating hours so cleaning is invisible to your staff, your clients and your production.
Before opening, after close, on night shift or in shutdown windows.
Every visit is checked by a supervisor before it's considered done. Issues are corrected at team level rather than logged and repeated, and sign-off is recorded where your site requires an audit trail.
Checked by a person, not assumed from a checklist.
We review ongoing contracts with you on a standing cycle, because buildings change. What a site needed a year ago is not always what it needs now.
Adjusted as your operation changes, in writing.
For a larger contract, a walkthrough takes under an hour and costs nothing. For a smaller job, we can usually quote over the phone. Either way, you know the price before we start.
