Industrial & Plant Cleaning

Heavy-duty cleaning for plants, workshops and port-adjacent sites, including coal-dust removal.

In short

Reflection provides industrial and plant cleaning for manufacturing sites, workshops, engineering premises and port-adjacent facilities in Richards Bay and the wider KwaZulu-Natal industrial corridor. The service covers heavy-duty floor and surface cleaning, coal-dust and airborne-particulate removal, high-pressure washing, workshop degreasing and scheduled plant housekeeping. Work is planned around production schedules and site safety requirements, with staff inducted to the site's own rules before starting.

Why it matters

What you are actually buying.

Built for a coal-port environment

Richards Bay industry deals with airborne coal dust and salt-laden air in a way inland contractors never plan for. Coal-dust removal is a standing part of our work, not an exception we improvise around.

Cleaning scheduled around production

We plan around shift patterns and shutdown windows so housekeeping happens when it costs you the least. Cleaning should not be the reason a line stops.

Site induction before day one

Teams complete your site induction and comply with your PPE and permit requirements. We arrive ready to work under your safety regime, not asking to be taught it.

Cover appropriate to the environment

R1 million defective workmanship cover matters more in a plant than in an office. Cleaning around machinery, control panels and finished stock carries real risk, and that risk is insured.

How we deliver it

Four stages, documented.

The same discipline applies whether the job is a monthly office contract or a single shutdown clean-down.
  1. Site and risk assessment

We assess the site with your safety and operations leads — surfaces, contaminants, access, permit requirements and the windows in which work can safely happen.

  2. Method and schedule

You receive a written method and schedule covering equipment, chemicals, PPE and the production windows the work fits into.

  3. Induction and mobilisation

The assigned team completes your induction, is issued the correct PPE, and mobilises with equipment matched to the contaminant and the surface.

  4. Verification and reporting

Work is verified against the method by a supervisor and signed off with your site contact, so there is a record of what was done and when.

Questions

Industrial & Plant Cleaning: common questions.

Yes. Coal-dust removal is a standing service line. Richards Bay hosts one of the world's largest coal export terminals, and the resulting airborne dust affects premises well beyond the terminal itself. We clean it as routine work rather than treating it as a special request.
