Hospitality & Accommodation

Housekeeping support for hotels, lodges, guesthouses and serviced accommodation.

In short

Reflection provides housekeeping and deep-cleaning support for hotels, lodges, guesthouses, self-catering units and serviced accommodation in Richards Bay, Zululand and the KwaZulu-Natal north coast. The service covers guest-room turnaround, public-area cleaning, periodic deep cleaning of soft furnishings, and surge capacity during peak occupancy. Work is scheduled around check-in and check-out times so rooms are released on time.

What the service covers

  • Guest room turnaround and servicing
  • Public area, lobby and corridor cleaning
  • Conference and function room preparation
  • Mattress and headboard deep cleaning
  • Curtain, blind and upholstery cleaning
  • Restaurant, bar and back-of-house cleaning
  • Post-event and post-function cleaning
  • Peak-season surge housekeeping support

Why it matters

What you are actually buying.

Rooms released on time

Turnaround is scheduled against your check-out and check-in times. A room that is clean an hour late is a room that cost you a guest complaint.

Capacity when you are full

Peak season, conferences and long weekends break fixed housekeeping teams. We provide surge capacity so occupancy does not outrun your ability to service it.

Soft furnishings on a real cycle

Mattresses, headboards, curtains and upholstery are what guests notice and what reviews mention. We deep-clean them on a scheduled cycle rather than when a complaint forces it.

Guest-facing conduct

Staff working in occupied accommodation are uniformed, identifiable and briefed on how to conduct themselves around guests and guest property.

How we deliver it

Four stages, documented.

The same discipline applies whether the job is a monthly office contract or a single shutdown clean-down.
  1. Property assessment

We assess room count, room types, public areas and your occupancy pattern, then establish the realistic turnaround time per room type.

  2. Standard and schedule

A room standard is agreed in writing — what a finished room looks like — along with the servicing schedule and the deep-clean cycle for soft furnishings.

  3. Team deployment

Teams are sized against occupancy and deployed to hit your release times, with supervisors coordinating directly with your duty manager.

  4. Room checks

Rooms are checked against the agreed standard before release, so the first person to inspect a room is not the guest.

Questions

Hospitality & Accommodation: common questions.

Yes. Surge housekeeping support during peak occupancy, conferences and long weekends is one of the most common hospitality requests we handle. Give us your forecast occupancy and we will size the team against it.
